Dr. Christensen received his DDS from the Univeristy of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of dentistry in San Francisco in 2005, and from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 1996. Before dental school he spent four years teaching 6th-8th grade social studies and science. Although he never intended on being a teacher, he’ll tell you that teaching is where his heart really is. He scratches that itch by teaching on his own time whenever he can. He has taught first year dental students at the university, dental hygiene students and general anatomy students at Cabrillo College, dental assisting students at the Santa Cruz ROP program, and his daughter’s kindergarten class in Rio Del Mar.
Before children Dr. Christensen loved to mountain bike, and found any excuse he could to go to the movies. Now that he’s got two young, beautiful kids (and another on the way), he’ll tell you he’s lucky just to get a bowl of cereal before work in the morning. Dr. Christensen married his beautiful wife Jennifer in 2002 and the whole family lives in Aptos.
